The Secret To Clearing Up Eczema Once And For All
I'm fond of playing football, especially when I have BB…
We are all a little bit concerned about our skin from time to time. Especially, if the reason for the worry is something like eczema… Annoying, I know. Been there. Now it’s time to know more how to treat it though.
According to webmd.com, doctors don’t know exactly what causes eczema. The most common type of eczema — atopic dermatitis — resembles an allergy. But the skin irritation, which is more often seen in children rather than adults, is not an allergic reaction.
The current thinking is that eczema is caused by a combination of factors that include:
* Genetics
* Abnormal function of the immune system
* Environment
* Activities that may cause the skin to be more sensitive
* Defects in the skin barrier that allow moisture out and germs in
Karina Irby who is a 28-year-old bikini designer, made public how she has been treating her issue with eczema. She has been soaking her legs in potassium permanganate crystals. It took her only three weeks to start noticing positive changes in the improvement of her skin. Karina shared a before-after comparison picture, and got loads of support from her fans.
Besides being very well known as the body-positive creator and CEO of the Moana Bikini line, she could increase the number of her fans by talking openly about her struggling with eczema.
Now, the Port Macquarie native has come clean about how she has entirely transformed her eczema-prone skin in just three weeks. Repeat: three weeks.
She wrote on her Instagram page, explaining how it took only $20 to clear up her eczema. Her secret?
What could be the answer according to the bikini designer (in the picture), potassium permanganate crystals, which you can ‘pick up from your local chemist for less than $20’.
Karina posted:
‘I can’t believe I’m even publicly posting this.
This is a big deal for me and I even contemplated NOT sharing my three-week eczema transformation out of pure embarrassment.’
Anyway, despite her shame, the bikini-designer said she decided to because of her own experience as a teenager, ‘struggling with my skin’, without any help.
She said:
‘I would have killed to have seen another human talking about eczema, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do here.’
Karina told her 900,000 followers:
‘I would have killed to have seen another human talking about eczema, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do here.
I was pretty upset and shocked that I’d let that happen.
Honestly, I was just uneducated and didn’t know how to treat my skin properly.’
The bikini designer told the story of how for the past three weeks has been soaking her legs for 10 minutes in potassium permanganate crystals. She did this every morning and evening.
She stated:
‘This apparently kills any bad infection in the skin that’s keeping my eczema from healing properly’.

From the moment she shared the picture on Instagram, the bikini designer (pictured above), has received a lot of support from others saying they can’t wait to try the crystals on their skin.
One mother posted:
“Wow! That’s a huge difference. And thank you for sharing your story. Two out of my three children have eczema and I’m always searching for and trying new things to ease their pain.”
Another added:
“LOVE potassium permanganate for pompholyx eczema on my hands. It does stain my skin a tan color but love that you only need a tiny bit. Apple cider vinegar soak also helps a tonne.”
