Rihanna has made a huge comeback with her Fenty Beauty line. It was a huge success selling the products immediately in stores and online. But a new report shows that the singer’s line has raked in millions since the September launch. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Rihanna’s line earned $72 million in media value in only one month.
And according to a description from Newsweek, the brand’s “media value” includes the money from free advertising from social media and press. The beauty line leaked on September 9 and immediately took everyone’s attention with the 40 shades of foundation, lip glosses, brushes, highlighters, etc.
On October 13, the brand revealed their holiday collection including an eyeshadow palette that you can find in any Sephora store.
Rihanna talked with Teen Vogue about her collection at the time her line launched. When talking about the future of Fenty Beauty and its developments she said:
“There are endless possibilities coming,” she told the Conde Nast offspring, “You just have to wait and see.”
Queen Rih also debuted her second collection with Adidas during NY Fall Fashion Week that was adored by fans and other fashionistas.
