All the fans of Desperate Housewives and Peyton Place had a blast when Bravo broadcasted the Real Housewives reality TV show for the first time on March 21, 2006. Inspired by the above-mentioned TV series, it is an American media franchise that documents the lives of several affluent housewives throughout the US. The first version, The Real Housewives of Orange County, was so good that it made for several spin-off series. But what happened to all these women who participated? They surely became famous, but did they decide to go under the knife and get plastic surgery? Apparently, some of them are still denying this. Believe it or not, their NO is stronger than these obvious pictures that People has compiled.
1. Kim Zolciak-Biermann
Though she confessed that she had a breast enhancement and a tummy tuck in the past, she denied rumours of a nose job and lip enhancement. This happened on Watch What Happens Live, when she told host Andy Cohen, “If I’m going to have a nose job, it’s going to be a hell of a lot shorter. It’s not going to go down in my mouth.” Apparently, pregnancy and genetics were to blame for her changing features.
2. Lisa Rinna
Rinna also denied surgery allegations on the same show after a fan asked if she recently plumped her lips. ““No, it goes up and down, you know that!” she said, also denying she’d had a breast enhancement: “No, but pads are in. They’re pushing them up. It’s an illusion. I can do many things with this body.” Lucky Lisa!
3. Bethenny Frankel
Can you believe she did the same thing as the two ladies above? WWHL is the spot for denial! Bethenny Frankel made this apparent when she denied having plastic surgery to correct her jawline. “I had my jaw injected with Botox because I have TMJ, and if you look at pictures of me from probably like seven years ago, it’s gradually gotten smaller to the point that I had to stop, and now it actually hurts again,” she told a fan. How about those wide awake look on your face, Bethenny? She explained: “When you put your eyelashes on, put the ends up a little bit and it makes your eyes look a little bit more out, so they don’t go down, but no, I have not [had plastic surgery done lately].”
4. Taylor Armstrong
She did confess to Oprah: “I got new lips and new breasts and changed my hair. It was anything I could do to try to become someone else.” However, she also told an interviewer in 2011, “A lot of people have been obsessed with the plastic surgeries of the Beverly Hills housewives, and really all we talked about was injectables, Botox and filler, and all of a sudden it’s turned into surgery, which is not the case. I have my original nose, original cheekbones, I do filler and Botox, but it’s definitely not surgery.”
5. Kyle Richards
Kyle Richards told People exclusively, “I’m one of those people who thinks less is better. There are so many people who have so much done to their face. They never look better!” She added, “I’m not one of those women who is like, ”Every wrinkle has made me who I am,’ but I’m also not the person who doesn’t want to age. My mom died young, so for me, every birthday is a reason to celebrate.”
6. Brandi Glanville
While she has confessed to breast implants and vaginal rejuvenation, she denies having done any work to her face, tweeting at the Daily Mail. “Haven’t had plastic surgery on my face ever thank you very much I’ve had fillers and Botox that’s it it’s called getting older.” Smart move.
7. Porsha Williams
The Atlanta housewife got a breast augmentation after her 2014 divorce, but denies any other plastic surgery. In 2016, however, she did go on to have a non-surgical nose job.
8. Kandi Burruss
After the breast augmentation rumors, she instagrammed a photo of herself with a few of her fellow housewives. She also wrote: “#lostfiles from last night! @jamiefosterbrown @cynthiabailey10 @apollonida03 & I at the #Sister2Sister event. #whyilooklikeihadaboobjob #ipromiseyouidonothaveimplants.”
9. Cynthia Bailey
A Twitter fan asked Bailey who the doctor behind her nose job was. And then, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star replied, “Sorry the nose was God-given.”
10. Kenya Moore
Kenya denied rumors of implants on WWHL (where else?), telling Andy her breasts are “all natural.” She also added: “They get bigger as I’m aging. I’m, like, going up in a bra size lately.” Now that is an interesting fact to notice.
11. Pettifleur Berenger
The real housewife of Melbourne told the Daily Mail Australia, “I’m 100 percent natural. I’ve not had anything touched on my face, contrary to what people are talking about.” What a woman!
