While you’re all familiar with Prince William, the Duchess and their two (soon-to-be three) children that seem to cause a complete riot in the media every time one of them sneezes, but what you may not know is that William’s younger brother, Harry. is also smitten.
The 32-year-old royal has been dating Suits actress Meghan Markle, and he has reportedly introduced her to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. In case there was any confusion about who his grandmother was.
Like we said before, Harry has only been dating the 36-year-old actress and model for just over a year, but it looks like things are getting serious after Harry took her to meet her hopefully soon-to-be grandmother-in-law after their vacation in Botswana and Zambia.
“Harry decided to take Meghan to visit as he hadn’t been up yet all summer.”, a source told US Weekly magazine.
“He wanted to introduce Meghan to the queen. It went well. It’ll no doubt be the first of many encounters. The entire weekend was a success. He was able to introduce someone he loves to someone he cares for deeply.” the source added.
Confirmation that Markle has met Harry’s family comes not long after she said she was “in love” with the prince during a Vanity Fair magazine interview, adding that they were really happy together.
However, the openness about their relationship has caused concern to William and Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, stating that she shouldn’t be talking about their relationship quite so early on.
“Meghan is in a position where she can’t win, and she’ll learn that soon. Maybe it was a mistake for her to speak out so early.” the 59-year-old former BRH servant stated.
“People are so desperate to learn more about her, but if you open the door a tiny bit to your life, it’s hard to close it. Diana said the media was like a wild animal that she tried to tame but would always bite off her hand, and Meghan will learn that too.” he added.
