In An Act Of Pure Kindness, Police Officers In Tasmania Take Drunk Guy Home And Tuck Him Into Bed

Drinking is not exactly a good habit. You can get in a lot of trouble for it, and in even worse cases you can cause trouble for other people, not just yourself. Normally, cops aren’t exactly fond of drunk people, particularly if they catch them driving out in the wild.

But, as it turns out, if you get found drunk by Tasmanian cops, they’ll not only take you home, but they’ll also tuck you into bed and take a selfie just for you to believe that you got home safely the night before.

That’s exactly what happened to Reece, who was having such a good night that he went completely blackout drunk. But, the cops didn’t give him a hefty fine and put him behind bars, instead, they took the dude home and tucked him into bed.

And if that wasn’t insane enough, the officers also took a selfie using Ryan’s phone, which he found in the morning and immediately posted to social media.

The post was uploaded to Reddit and people were completely blown away by how nice Aussie officers are.

One user wrote: “Let me get this straight. You black out, cops find you, and you wake up in your own bed and not a jail cell/drunk tank? What fairytale land do you dwell in?”

From what I hear, Reece wasn’t just an exception for that night. The police in Tasmania did this with other people too.

I wish the cops were like this where I live. Long live Tasmanian Police!
