The singer and former Disney star, Miley Cyrus has become one of the latest celebrities to have nude pictures posted online. The 24-year-old was targeted by the same hackers who also leaked private pictures of Amanda Seyfried and Emma Watson. The pictures were posted to the website named Celeb Jihad.
The site that has been hosting them is threatened with legal action but there has been no words from Miley about the leaks.
The hackers have attacked a number of A-list celebrities in recent months, including Amanda Seyfried, Emma Watson and Holly Willoughby. The three of them have denied that they are naked in the pictures.
Watson also released a statement online, confirming that the picture had been stolen but denying that they showed her naked.
A spokesman for Watson said:
“Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen. They are not nude photographs. Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further.”
As for Holly, of course that she wasn’t going to let any of these freaks win so an insider denied that she was a victim by saying that she is unconcerned with the baseless accusations.
In August 2014, a collection of 500 private pictures of many celebrities, mostly woman containing nudity were posted online. Later it turned out that the hackers have been taken advantage of a security issue in the iCloud API which allowed them to make unlimited attempts at guessing victims’ passwords.
