There’s nothing quite like seeing a child actor grow up in what can be considered a fortnight.
You’ve seen the actor as a child in some old movie, and nowadays, they’re all grown up, and in quite a few cases, look gorgeous.
I mean, just look at Matthew Lewis, the actor that played Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films. And I’m sure at least one of you asked yourself “Hey, isn’t that the kid from the arcade in Back To The Future Part II?” referring to Elijah Wood in LOTR.
MacKenzie Foy, who portrayed Renesmee, the daughter of Edward and Bella in the Twilight films, certainly has made an impressive transformation since her role.
The 16-year-old actress, who hails from LA, only recently started out her career.
It always blows our minds to see a child actor grow up basically overnight. Seriously, nothing makes us feel more old. Edward and Bella’s daughter in Breaking Dawn is no exception. She’s not that adorable little kid we remember anymore, but her transformation into a teenager is SUPER impressive. She’s appeared in some pretty big movies throughout her short career, and we know she’s just getting started, so make sure you keep an eye out for this one.
Almost funny to think that the last installment in the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part II, was released almost 5 years ago.
In Breaking Dawn Part I, Bella got pregnant, and fans were curious to see who would portray the child.
When Breaking Dawn Part II finally came out, the role was taken up by MacKenzie Foy
She was just 11 years old when she got the role, and she stunned audiences everywhere due to how adorable she was.
You can also spot a young MacKenzie in The Conjuring and Hawaii Five-O
And she also played the role of Murph Cooper in the 2014 megahit Interstellar
That’s not a bad list of movies for a 14-year-old.
I’d say that also acting alongside Matthew McConaughey and winning a Best Performance by a Younger Actor Saturn Award is enough to make it clear that this girl has a huge acting career ahead of her
She is now 16, and we can’t believe how much he has evolved and grown up over the years
Her most recent project is 2015’s Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise as Jenny O’Neill, and she’s also set to star as Clara in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
She has also done some voice acting work, portraying the little girl in The Little Prince
It’s safe to say that the MacKenzie Foy we remember from the Twilight movies has grown up into a gorgeous teenager with a huge future ahead of her.
With the roles that she has already banked, we can’t wait to see what movies she’s going to act in next.
Did her transformation make you feel old yet?
