It hasn’t been long since Kim was making headlines, and you probably just heard something new about the 36-year-old socialite and businesswoman. If you missed the mommy-shaming when she dressed her daughter in a faux-corset dress, make sure to see the new episode of mommy shaming, this time, because of her behavior towards Saint, her second child. Back in June, the reality star shared a photo of her 1-year-old son sitting forward in his car seat on Facebook. But now she has uploaded a video defending herself with some facts.
Back in June, the reality star shared a photo of her 1-year-old son sitting forward in his car seat on Facebook. But now she has uploaded a video defending herself with some facts.
Many people slammed her for putting Saint in a front-facing car seat at his age, when the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that “infants and toddlers ride in a rear-facing seat until they are at least 2 years old or until they reach the highest weight or height allowed by their car seat manufacturer, which is typically about 40 pounds and 40 inches.”
When it comes to parenting, it looks like there will always be those who criticize them one way or another.
Although she put the photo on her Facebook page in June, there is still a harsh debate going on about this. However, Kim tried to teach these people another lesson.
The comments Kim received for putting Saint in this car seat were very patronizing.
One user, Margaret Diaz had an ironic comment. ‘Let’s protect this handsome boy!’ She said in regards to the position of his seat.
But Kim was actually doing the right thing.
That’s what she explained in her video, posted to Kim’s YouTube channel.
In the video, she sits alongside a friend to explain the situation.
Kim explains that although he is facing the front of the car, other people don’t know that he is actually the required weight and height to ride in this position.
What else would you expect from this couple when they already raised a girl in a car seat? They’ve surely learned the rules by now!
Kim went on to add that Saint is actually a bit heavier than North. ‘If that is even believable.’ The video’s comment section has been removed, but we can only imagine the heated debate going on.
In a smart move the video’s comment section has been removed.
