The Wonder Woman movie was released this Summer and had great success. The movie was partly financed by producer Ratner, who allegedly took stake of the $412million that was made at the box office.

Six women have come forward to accuse him of some kind of sexual harassment. This has made Gadot change her mind about the sequel of the movie.

Ratner’s production company, Rat-Pac Dune, funded the film in an agreement with Warner Bros. However, he allegedly told the studio that they would have to buy him out if he is to step away from the sequel.

Gadot also reprised the role of Wonder Woman for the upcoming Justice League. Furthermore, Wonder Woman 2, Justice League Part Two and Flashpoint, a film about The Flash, have all been announced. All of these feature her character.

“She’s tough and stands by her principles. She also knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet,” a Warner Bros. insider told Page Six.

“She also knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops. They can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women,” the source added.

They added: “Brett made a lot of money from the success of ‘Wonder Woman,’ thanks to his company having helped finance the movie.

“Now Gadot is saying she won’t sign for the sequel unless Warner Bros. buys Brett out [of his financing deal] and gets rid of him.”

Ratner has categorically denied all of the accusations via his attorney. However, Gadot seems to stand firm on her decision, on the other hand. She doesn’t want to work with him again.
