You Have To See This ‘Fifty Shades Darker’-Inspired Makeup

‘Fifty Shades Darker’ is now a theme!

Nikkie from NikkieTutorials does everything perfectly.

And now she came up with a look based on the second installment of the ‘Fifty Shades’ series.

This is definitely not her first incredibly awesome video, and there are Youtube followers that can confirm this. 6.3 million to be precise.

That’s a lot, right? When you see her creativity and talent you’ll realize it’s not even enough. She’s a Dutch beauty vlogger and makeup artist with the coolest motto in the makeup world: “When life gives you lemons, punch it in the face and ask for glitter.”

That’s like, my life philosophy right now.

Okay, back to trending topics, and now we’re on ‘Fifty Shades Darker’. She created this look with gray shades of eyeshadow and a stunning matte gray lipstick from Maybelline that I have decided I need immediately.

As usual, she begins by priming her face and applying foundation with a brush.

She did not like the foundation she used first, because it was too dry, so she went back to the beginning, with a different one:

Which is super weird for me because it’s L’Oreal which makes me feel exactly the way she felt with the first one. Anyway, she uses a beauty blender to even everything out and shows us this palette:

The glittery shadow is a very important part of this look.

However, if you ask me, not nearly as important as the liquid liner that looks like someone invented it while they were reading ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’.

And nothing is as important as the perfect gray shade of lipstick:

I must say, Fifty Shades – not my cup of tea, but this look? Sign me up. To see the details and copy it step by step, all you have to do is watch the video. You won’t be disappointed.
