I don’t know about you, but I just somehow prefer the idea of monochrome everything. Clothes, shoes, room decor, accessories and other such items. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with colorful stuff, but I just prefer the concept of monochrome. I can’t say the same about Amina Mucciolo.
The 34-year-old from downtown LA in California, USA is going viral all over the internet due to transforming her apartment into a flurry of colors everywhere you look.
From lilac walls with paintings made of flowers to the most colorful furniture you’ve seen, this apartment has just about every color you can think of, in one form or another.
The wall, for example, is covered in paint splats, while the wall in the two photos you saw above is covered in flowers, and everything else in accompanying pastel shades.
Mucciolo has started her own design company, named Mucci Studio, and according to her, it’s “based on the idea that we can bring a dream-like whimsey into the every-day. Joy, excitement and inspiration is what we strive to communicate through our items.”

Her colorful apartment is blowing up on Instagram, as it’s helped her amass over 187k followers as of June 2017.
And as if her little quarter wasn’t colorful enough, as you saw in the pictures above, she decided to give her hair the same treatment too.
Waiting for the beauty YouTubers to jump on the rainbow dreadlock hairstyle train.
Aside from the coats of paint, the apartment features all sorts of colorful DIY decorations, as you can see here:
There’s also a fair collection of brightly colored figures and toys:
The bowls haven’t been skimped on either.
Check out those rainbow cabinets!
This has to be one of the most amazingly decorated rooms I’ve seen all year, and trust me, I have seen quite a few.
Just look at the rainbow/galaxy theme to the wall, specifically, how well that’s executed.
And of course, can’t forget the assortment of colorful bags and shoes.
Wouldn’t you love to sleep in a room like this?
“I wanted this place to feel like a living art installation,” Mucciolo told Independent,
“There’s something about what happens in spring – the holidays, the colors, that fresh feeling of happiness. It’s so inspiring for me.”
“It’s really important to me that where I live is a reflection of me and my personality, and also of my husband,” she told the Mail Online. “We like for our space to be fun and happy and inspiring.”
“I knew I wanted for there to be a rainbow element in my home, at least one really strong rainbow statement,” she said, adding that it took two days to do.
“I love it so much because I knew it would be great but I was still so scared to do it… But I followed my instinct and I knew it was gonna be good.”
