Personality tests are incredibly fun and quick. We usually approach them with a small dose of mistrust; after all, how can a test know things about you just by making you answer some random questions that don’t seem to have anything to do with psychology or character or personality traits.
So, we end up mostly surprised (and just slightly creeped out) when they do guess things one thought would never come to light, or things even we didn’t know about ourselves, but when we stop to think about them for a second, it kinda does make sense.
This test is called ‘Color Oracle.’ It was developed by Johannes Schneider – a Swiss astrologer, therapist, and art instructor who h been doing research investigating the effect colors have on the psyche for several decades. His findings were first published under the name ‘Color-O-Scope.’ It consisted od 25 wooden plaques, each in a different color, and the same pattern is used in this online version.
The test is quite simple, pretty accurate, and fairly deep, so be prepared to read things you maybe didn’t want to face. All you need to do is select the color you find most pleasing from the list, then the one that is most unpleasant for you, and repeat this process until you choose twelve colors. Then, it is time to find out the results. The test will describe your general predisposition at the moment, interpreting the colors you found pleasant to identify the things that are most important to you, and the ones you found disagreeable to figure out the reasons behind your anxiety.
You will only need about two minutes to complete the quiz. Make sure you answer accurately and let your subconscious tell you what you need to know.
