Former Bodybuilder Gains 25 Pounds For A Reverse Transformation, And Is Now Much Happier

Normally, when you think of body transformation pics on the internet, you think of people going from either a really skinny or really plump and undesirable physique all the way to an amazing, highly defined beast of a person that everyone goes crazy over.

Well, Jolene Nicole Jones has also made a pretty big transformation, but not in a way you’d expect. You see, rather than going with the norm, let’s say, from fat to fit, she’s actually done the reverse thing: she has transformed herself, in her own words, from a “body builder to body lover”.

It’s a great thing that Jolene has decided to take this step in her life. I think you’ll agree that it’s much better to live your life to the fullest, to the highest extent and to enjoy everything it has to offer, rather than being on a strict regime to stay fit and competitive in bodybuilding competitions. If you look at this transformation with that in mind, that’s when it all starts to make perfect sense.

She admitted that her bodybuilding lifestyle was a real constraint, and she didn’t really get to do all the things that she enjoyed doing. Now, with her 25 pound weight gain, she’s free to enjoy life, eat all the foods she wants and live life it to its full extent.

At the height of her bodybuilding career, she would work out 6 days a week, weight lifting and 45 minutes of cardio each time.

“I ate a lot of protein like egg whites with hot sauce and a protein shake with just water for breakfast. The last few weeks were the hardest. No alcohol, sugar, beef, wheat, gluten or dairy. I realized it wasn’t my passion anymore when I despised being there and was just going through the motions. And for what? What was I trying to improve? Who was I trying to impress?” she told Metro.

Being only 26, there’s still plenty of opportunities and fun times to be had in life, so she made this 180 degree turn at just the right time.
