There are few things in this world that are more satisfying than watching a sexist, body-shaming creep get burned on the Twittersphere. This happened few days ago, when a South African man turned this plus-size model, Lesego Legobane, from SA, into a meme that compared her to a thinner woman.
He referred to the more slender model, Joëlle Kayembe, as “girls I like,” and Legobane as “girls that like me.” Not only was he insulting curved women everywhere but also implied that women should be liked on their weight and appearance. Are we still dealing with these archaic standards in 2017?
Thank God, the Interned swooped in to bury the unsuspecting creep under a layer of clapbacks. But they didn’t even have to, since “Leeyonce” delievered the most scathing burn of all. How? With only 4 words. Scroll down below to see what happened.
This is Lesego Legobane, aka Leeyonce. She is a plus-size South African model.
It all started with this random guy on Twitter that used her image in a meme.
To his response, Leeyonce delivered a simple, 4 word comeback.
Seems like the Internet also had no time for sexist, body-shaming negativity.
When he tried to return, it still didn’t work out for him.
The woman who he used in his meme also shut him down.
Leeyonce still stands unbothered like all women in the face of body shaming should do.
