The hottest news is that 20-year-old Kylie Jenner might pregnant, as it can allegedly be seen in this picture she posted on Instagram. But she is not the only celebrity who decided to have kids at such a young age. As a matter of fact, some did it even before her, and they are still great parents. Turns out parenthood does not become smarter with age, at least for these lovely ladies. These actually had to fight in terrible conditions ad obscene circumstances for their own happiness.
So, here’s the list of eight celebrities who also had children by age eighteen, and who probably made the right decision.
1. Shirley Temple
This child actress who played in Bright Eyes was married at 17 and had a child at 19. However, her career went on a different path. She went on to become a major Republican and Richard Nixon appointed her as a UN ambassador.
2. Maya Angelou
Another American legend, a master poet and major civil rights hero, Maya Angelou was 16 when she gave birth to her son, Guy Johnson. A phenomenal woman indeed.
3. Aretha Franklin
Believe it or not, Aretha Franklin had her first child at age 14, and a second at age 16. Anyone who raises two children while she herself is a child, and then goes on to be one of the best singers is an absolute hero! Nothing but respect.
4. Naomi Judd
This country singer had her first daughter at age 18. She named her Wynonna.
5. Niki Taylor
The American supermodel and TV presenter had twins at the age of 18! That’s a tough one.
6. Solange Knowles
Long before there were Cranes in the Sky, Solange was a mother at age 18, with her son, Daniel Julez J. Smith Junior. Brave girl!
7. Jamie Lynn Spears
Yeah, remember Zoey 101? Well, Jamie Lynn Spears actually got pregnant when she was only 16 at that time! It was rather shocking. Zoey and Chase were meant to be, right? Her kid’s name is Maddie Briann Aldridge.
8. Sofia Vergara
The famous leading lady of Modern Family was only eighteen when she had her son, Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara. Nowadays, he’s all grown and looking handsome, I’m sure you’ll agree.
