Barbies and Kens, Kardashians and Ariels, please step away because you are not at the top anymore! There is a real-life elf stepping up to the front. This fantasy fan has gone to the extreme and spent more than $34,000 on plastic surgeries in order to become an elf. The 25-year-old Luis Padron comes from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He seems to be the utmost lover of elves and other fantasy beings, but his wishes to become one finally came true.
Let’s look at what Luis Padron has to say about his obsession to look like an elf.
He explains in an interview: ‘I want to be an elf, an angel and a fantasy being, my aim is to look inhuman, ethereal, graceful and delicate.’
Luis first got into fantasy after experiencing bullying at school. That’s why he started the idea of being unique.
It all started with cosplay, but Luis didn’t stop at that. He explains that he ‘wanted to change to become my own perception of beauty.’
He allegedly spent more than $34,000 on surgical procedures so that he can become his true self.
Luis claims his biggest inspiration were movies such as ‘Labyrinth’ and ‘The Neverending Story.’ He grew up addicted to the characters in these movies.
Then, he started bleaching his hair and skin so that he could look like an elf.
Moreover, he spends more than $5,000 a month to get specific creams, treatments, ointments and dyes.
He has also undergone liposuction on his jaw, a nose job, full body hair removal and procedures to change his eye color.
Luis identifies himself as a ‘trans-species.’ This is when a person is trapped in the wrong body, but not based on gender rather on species.
He adds: ‘I consider myself trans-species. In the same way transgender people feel, I need to become how I feel inside.’
Now he’s got bright blue eyes accompanied with long flowing blond hair and his resemblance to an elf is quite strange. However, his most recent post on Instagram says: ‘have you ever felt like an alien inside?’
Nowadays, Luis does not mind when people stare at him because he got used to it since he was a teenager.
Also, he hopes to get further surgeries that include getting his ears pointed, hair implants for a heart shaped hairline and limb lengthening procedures that would make him 6’5”.
Here are his plans in details: ‘I want to have my ears cut to become pointy like an elf’s, my jaw to look sharper like a diamond, a facelift, and an eye lift to give my eyes a cat-like shape.’
That’s not all. He also has considered getting muscle implants.
Not surprisingly, Luis works as a model, but also has a side job selling cosplay merchandise. That’s how he pays for his expensive surgeries.
Out of all these experiences, he explains: ‘This helps me to feel like a good person but in fantasy, you have to be beautiful not only on the inside but the outside too.’
